After we receive the raw coco pith from our fibre unit, we do stock them in a separate yard to avoid the material contact with unnecessary weeds and sand for a minimum period of six months for the aging process to happen. The aging process helps in thorough buffering of the material.
After aging process, they enter our buffering tanks where the actual treatment with calcium nitrate happens and then finally the material is subjected to number of clean water washes to bring all chemical parameters in-accordance with RHP standards for betterment of the plant growth.
After treatment, the samples are taken to our Quality Control test laboratory, where it is completely checked for all chemical parameters at each stage.
Only when the material has cleared our Quality Control test, it enters our solar concrete drying yards. The material is then dried below 15% of moisture in our yards. These concrete yards are an added advantage because it helps to eliminate any unwanted particles like weeds and small stones from mixing with the buffered material. Very few producers use concrete yards and we are one of them. After drying they have to pass through a screener for removal of baby or waste fiber. Then they go through a De-stoner too, where the fine particles of sand are removed from the buffered bulk.
Then they are finally through bailing machines, which bails them into blocks of 5kgs and 650gms accordingly. The drying and bailing has to happen for the convenience of logistics around the globe.
